THE THREAD

THE THREAD is a present-day pan-African thriller series following ordinary Accra archivist Abena Asantewaa, who discovers a coded document that activates a dormant pan-African secret network spanning six continents. Set in a world of advanced parallel African civilisations, the series weaves together six cities, six Keepers, and one powerful truth: the thread that connects the African diaspora has never been broken. Season 1 consists of six episodes, each set in a different city across the pan-African world. THE THREAD is produced by Sankofa Pan Africa Incorporated and made available to communities through Sankofa Futures Initiative Center.
